Our “All/Off” sensor offers significant energy saving in a variety of scenarios, from purpose-built student accommodation to build-to-rent, to co-living. The unobtrusive sensor unit switches lights and heating/AC off when rooms are unoccupied.
When the guest arrives the door sensor signals to switch on the lights and HVAC. Once in their room the guest controls the lights and AC normally using the existing switches and thermostat.
Unlike most occupancy detectors, the room is now ‘latched’ on, removing the need for the occupant to periodically wave their arms around to re-trigger the sensor. When the leave, the door sensor is triggered again. If no motion is detected after a short time the room lights and HVAC are switched off.
